What follows are some rules that I always want you to keep in mind when performing your somatic movements. From there we will get into the movements themselves. For the first week I want you to focus on a single somatic movement. The goal here is to get used to the gentle movement and working your mind and body from within. From there I will offer you two short somatic sequences from which you will choose one, depending on your circumstances. Finally I will show you the “cat stretch”, which is a series of somatic movements you can perform everyday if you wish.
