CHANGES AND CORRECTIONS IN SCIENTIFIC NAMES OF BIRDS
Since the first appearance of this book in 1944, there have been a number of changes in the scientific classifications and names of the birds described. With the publication of the revised edition, the author has taken advantage of the opportunity to include the following list of new names and to correct several errors in the earlier nomenclature.
