Pauleo
This Frederick Rhead design from about 1914 combines the names of Roseville co-founder George Young’s daughter-in-law, Pauline, and his daughter, Leota. Commonly found as lamp bases, the simple forms were based on ancient vessels, and the glaze combinations are seemingly limitless. Pieces are frequently unmarked.
