Velmoss
V
The Velmoss name is associated with three distinct Roseville lines, two of which are described here. The early Velmoss has an Arts & Crafts aura and is a dull green or tan blend with large stylized vertical leaves cloaking the vessels. Pieces are unmarked. Velmoss II (1935) has naturalistic leaves draped over a wavy ridged border with background colors of muted greens, blues, and pinks. Pieces occasionally feature impressed marks, but are mostly unmarked or have a foil label.
