Artware and
Landscape
Decorated Artware and Landscape pieces reflect the art nouveau influence at the turn of the 19th century. Designs included glossy, idealized landscapes with birds, and fruit and floral motifs. The highly stylized motifs in the Landscape line were created both with squeeze-bag decoration and layers of clay (sgraffito), and most were found on jardinières, pedestals, and umbrella stands. None are marked.
