Aztec

Introduced in 1904 and strongly influenced by the art nouveau movement, the name “Aztec″ is a misnomer. This line featured stylized floral and geometric designs—with the occasional ship or Moorish arches— applied with slip cup or squeeze bag. Background colors include blue (from pale to navy), russet, gray, ivory, teal, and tan. Most are unmarked.

one tapering with flat rim by E.C., decorated with stylized crocuses in yellow and green on a teal ground (two chips to rim with 2″ V-shaped line from one), and one bulbous decorated with stylized swags in white, yellow, and green on a blue ground (several hairlines from rim and several nicks to high points), first one has Rozane Ware wafer, 9″ by 4″ and 8″ by 3 1/2″.
