Decorated Matt
The line called Decorated Matt evolved from other Roseville patterns popular between 1905 and 1910, and reflects influences of the art nouveau and arts & crafts movements. Soft colors of dusty blue and tan for backgrounds are contrasted with bold geometric and stylized forms from nature in cream, yellow, navy, and terra cotta. These pieces are usually unmarked, but may include an artist’s signature.
