Dogwood I and II
There are two distinct Dogwood patterns: textured (called Dogwood I, circa 1916) and smooth (called Dogwood II, mid-1920s). The earlier version has subtler shades and an olive-colored background; pieces were unmarked or ink stamped. The later pattern is a more intense green shot with brown, and the branches are nearly all black; pieces were seldom marked.
