Florane I and II
There is some lingering debate as to the correct term for these two patterns. Some prefer to include Florane I with Rosecraft; others call Florane II “Etruscan.″ Three decades and a world of style difference separate the two. Florane I (circa 1920) did borrow from the classical Rosecraft shapes, but has more colors. Florane II (1949) has several billowing, twisted profiles and brighter hues. The former has ink stamps, the latter has raised marks.
