Florentine

Florentine had two incarnations, first in 1924 and again in 1940, sometimes called Florentine I and II. The earlier version comes in brown and ivory, and has rough textured brown panels regularly spaced and separated by garlands of grape vines and flowers, with a modified egg-and-dart rim. Pieces are unmarked or have an “Rv″ ink stamp. The later version has textured brown and ivory panels separated by ivory partitions with green-glazed decoration and a green-trimmed rim. These pieces are unmarked or have a raised “Roseville U.S.A.″ mark.
