Fujiyama/Woodland

Designed by Gazo Foudji, the wares are closely related. Introduced in 1905-06, these pieces have delicate glazed floral motifs on a textured, buff-colored body. The Fujiyama pieces have an ink stamp, while Woodland pieces have a Rozane/ Woodland wafer. Fujiyama should not be confused with Fudji, which has symmetrical, stylized art nouveau patterns on similarly shaped vessels, plus Rozane Ware wafers.
