Ming Tree
Although the decoration on this line has been described as a Japanese bonsai tree, “Ming″ was one of the Chinese dynasties. Maybe Roseville was trying to cover all the bases with this 1949 introduction. On bodies of glossy Celestial Blue, Jade Green and Temple White, these pieces also have gnarled branches for handles. Pieces have the raised mark, “Roseville U.S.A.″
