Moderne
Introduced at the height of art deco, Moderne (1936) picked up and refined themes introduced two years earlier in Laurel: strong vertical lines juxtaposed with stylized blossoms or tendrils. The plain matt backgrounds include blue, brown, pink, green, and ivory. Most pieces have impressed marks.
