“Poison Apple” Bars

Makes one dozen

1/2 c. butter

1 c. sugar

1 egg, beaten

1 c. plus 1 T. all-purpose flour

1 t. cinnamon

1/2 t. baking soda

1/2 t. baking powder

1/4 t. salt

1 c. apple, cored, peeled and chopped

Mix all ingredients together in order given in an ungreased 10"x10" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Cool and cut into bars. Makes one dozen.
