Mud Pie

Makes 8 servings

1-1/2 c. chocolate wafers, crushed

1/4 c. butter, melted

1 qt. coffee ice cream, softened

1-1/2 c. fudge ice cream topping

Garnish: whipped topping, slivered almonds

Combine wafer crumbs and butter; mix well. Press into a 9" pie plate. Spread with ice cream; place in freezer until ice cream is firm. Top with fudge sauce; freeze for 8 hours to overnight. Slice pie into 8 wedges and place on chilled dessert plates. Top each wedge with whipped topping and slivered almonds.
