AYAM GORENG
KUNYIT HALIA
Serves 4–6
Deep-fried chicken flavoured with turmeric and ginger is a simple but tasty dish that will appeal to the taste buds of both the young and old. My Auntie Alice used to say, “Orang suka minum arak, macham bapak lu, dia suka makan ini” or that people who enjoy drinking alcohol will enjoy eating this dish with beer. Indeed, this makes an excellent side dish served as part of a meal and can also be served as a snack with drinks.
