There’s no doubt that God knows about your future. He has an awesome plan for your life. The big question is how much he plans to tell you—and when.

Actually, God wants to tell you a whole lot about your future, but he is too wise to tell you all of it at once. He will tell you only what you need to know exactly when you can handle it! For example, you don’t need to know in third grade—or even in sixth grade—where you’ll go to college, what you’ll do for a job, if you’ll get married, or when and where you’ll retire! God lovingly chooses to keep your future a secret. But as you ask him to help you make right choices—starting now—he will show you his plan for your life one step at a time!

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct your paths.
