Dear Reader,
When we wrote the first collection of Blackwell books, we laughingly wondered if there was another group of stories to tell. Turns out, there was. Being able to return to Falcon Creek, Montana, with four of my best friends felt like lightning striking twice (in that good way). The proof is in these books.
The Harrison-Blackwell sisters are unique in that they’re all different, but they all share the same big heart. Family is, and always will be, what’s most important to them. Writing about the eldest sister, Peyton, was both a pleasure and a challenge. A pleasure because I got to watch this career-obsessed woman discover that she really can have everything she wants, and a challenge because she’s carried a secret for a very long time. A secret that has damaged the close relationship she’s had with her sisters.
She’s not in any condition to fall in love...which means it’s the perfect time. Not only does she find herself falling head over heels for her bodyguard, Matteo Santos, but also his adorable six-year-old son. Ah, love. It just puts everyone where they’re supposed to be, doesn’t it?
Here’s to the Blackwell family...past and present. And all the love they bring to the world.
