31. Nautical Illustration

For the artist who loves boats and all forms of watercraft, a career in nautical art might be on the horizon. There are a handful of artists who limit their work to the drawing and painting of boats, from small craft to cruise ships. There are large amounts of overlap between this vocation and the fine art markets. Boating magazines, books, boat and boat-product manufacturers, water-safety organizations and art galleries all create a market for accurate, well-produced nautical art.
