Adrienne Rich’s recent books include The School Among the Ruins: Poems 2000–2004 (2004), Arts of the Possible: Essays and Conversations (2001), and What Is Found There: Notebooks on Poetry and Politics (2003). She edited Muriel Rukeyser’s Selected Poems for the Library of America. Her work has received the Lenore Marshall/Nation Prize, the Wallace Stevens Award, the Bollingen Prize in Poetry, and the National Book Foundation’s 2006 Medal for Distinguished Contribution to American Letters, among other recognitions. Telephone Ringing in the Labyrinth: Poems 2004–2006 will be published in October 2007. Since 1984 she has lived in California.
