These are more than just my personal maxims. They are pillars of a house of genuine manhood that urgently needs to be rebuilt in our time. Read them. Ponder them. Pray them. Absorb them from the great lives we are about to see. Remember, though, that it is only by doing these maxims that they will become reality in your life.
In the Nicomachean Ethics Aristotle said, “Men acquire a particular quality by constantly acting a particular way . . . you become just by performing just actions, temperate by performing temperate actions, brave by performing brave actions.”
This is also the way we become manly men!
