Felted iPod Cozy
Size before felting: 4½″ × 6½″, size after felting: 3″ × 5″

This popular cozy would also make a great cell phone case! You'll love the way the colors blend with this yarn, and the case even has a pocket for your earbuds. If you are unhappy with the results, keep putting it through the wash until it is the right size.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Bottom
Row 1: Ch 13, sc in second ch and in each ch across, ch 1, turn each row — 12 sc.
Rows 2–3: Sc in each sc across. Do not end off — 12 sc.
Body
Ch 2, hdc in same sp (inc), do not turn, cont around short end, working hdc in each st, 2 hdc in each corner and 1 hdc on each short end, sl st to ch 2 — 30 hdc.
Rows 2–15: Cont working in rnds, sl st to ch 2 at end of each row. End off — 30 hdc.
Tab
Row 1: With back facing, mark 6 sts at center top edge, attach yarn to first marked st, ch 2 (first hdc) hdc in next 5 hdc, ch 2, turn — 6 hdc.
Rows 2–8: Hdc in each st — 6 hdc.
Row 9: Work 2hdctog (to dec) at beg and end of row. End off — 4 hdc.
Strap
Attach yarn to side top edge at fold, ch 37, sl st to next st, ch 1, turn; sl st in each ch across and to top edge. End off — 37 sl sts.
Row 1: Ch 13, hdc in third ch (ch 2 counts as first st) and each ch across, ch 2, turn — 12 hdc.
Rows 2–11: Hdc in each st. End off after Row 11 — 12 hdc.
Sew pocket to back of cozy with yarn and yarn needle. Weave in ends.
Use the pocket to store earbuds or cash.
To Felt
This cozy was put through the wash cycle twice. Stretch the strap when wet to fit around your wrist. Sew button to tab, and sew a snap to the underside of tab.

4 hdc = 1¼″
