Children are very precious. When people say, “Children are to be seen and not heard,” it really bothers me. I've even heard of parents making their kids sit on the couch and not move a muscle when they go to visit someone. If children are not disciplined, they will not learn to be self-disciplined; but some people are just too hard on their children. Let kids be kids, with appropriate guidance and discipline, because they are little human beings with feelings just like you and me. My grandmother told me that God is allowing you to borrow them, so please take care of their physical needs and their fragile little spirits as well.
