* Jeffrey Greene is the author of a collection of poetry, American Spirituals, and prose narratives inspired by his adopted province Burgundy. At the Village Voice, he introduced some of the greater American and other poetic voices of the twentieth century, including Ellen Hinsey, W. S. Merwin, Mark Strand, Lithuanian Tomas Venclova, and C. K. Williams.
