Children (ages 6 – 12) are invited to participate in Crater Lake’s Junior Ranger Program. Pick up a free activity booklet from either visitor center. Explore the park, completing activities as you go, and return the book to a park ranger. Four completed pages earns a sticker, eight pages gets you a Junior Ranger badge. An alternative option is to go to Rim Visitor Center between 1:30 – 4:30pm (July – early September). At this time your child can choose from several kid-friendly activities. Each completed activity earns a Junior Ranger patch.
