Visitors must remember they’re visiting a desert when they come to Joshua Tree National Park. Days are usually hot, dry, and clear (with the exception of smog from Los Angeles and the coast). Summers are hot, over 100°F during the day and usually not below 70°F through the night. Spring and fall bring perfect weather with highs around 85°F and lows averaging about 50°F.
