There are eight designated campgrounds. Along Main Park Road from Northwest to Southwest Entrance Stations are Manzanita Lake (179 sites, $18/night), Crags (45, $12), Summit Lake North (46, $18), Summit Lake South (48, $16), and Southwest Walk-in (20, $14). Southwest is the only year-round campground, but it is not conducive to RVs (all campsites are a short walk from Southwest Entrance Parking Area). RV sites are available at Butte Lake, Crags, Manzanita Lake, Summit Lake (North and South), and Warner Valley. Warner Valley (18, $14), Juniper Lake (18, $10), and Butte Lake (101, $16) Campgrounds are accessed via rough and remote gravel roads. Coin-operated showers and laundry and a dump station (fee) are only available near Manzanita Lake. Flush toilets are available at Butte Lake, Manzanita Lake, and Summit Lake North. Sites at Manzanita Lake, Summit Lake (North and South), and Butte Lake can be reserved up to six months in advance by calling (877) 444-6777 or clicking www.recreation.gov.
Group sites are available at Butte Lake (6, $50), Lost Creek (8, $50, near Crags), and Juniper Lake (2, $30). Group sites must be reserved in advance. All campgrounds (other than Southwest) open sometime between May and July and close between September and October. All open and close dates are weather dependent.
