Olympic National Park consists of more than a dozen vehicle accessible regions, but it isn’t a drive-thru park. Almost every distinct region is accessed from a spur road off of US-101, which circles around the Olympic Range. A few of the more popular regions include: the mountain vistas of Hurricane Ridge, the hot springs and waterfalls of Sol Duc, the temperate rain forest of Hoh Rain Forest, and the tide pools and coastline of Ozette. Each area is unique in its own way, and for this reason Olympic National Park is examined region by region. The driving distance between regions is provided in the table below.
