I’ve been making my Parmesan bread for so many years, I can’t remember where I got the recipe! Thanks to a convenient baking mix, a freshly made loaf gets into the oven fast.

3 3/4 cups biscuit/baking mix
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
1 can (5 ounces) evaporated milk
3/4 cup water
1. Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine biscuit mix, 1 cup cheese, Italian seasoning and salt. In a small bowl, whisk the egg, milk and water. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Transfer to a greased 8x4-in. loaf pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
2. Bake 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
