TRIPLE CHOCOLATE CAKE

Sour cream adds richness to this treat and the chips sprinkle in some fun. The whole family will love the chocolaty results and your pocketbook will love that it doesn’t cost much to make!

    1package white cake mix (regular size)

1/3cup sugar

   4eggs

    1cup (8 oz.) sour cream

2/3cup canola oil

   2tablespoons baking cocoa

1/2cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

    1cup chocolate frosting

   2tablespoons 2% milk

1. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, sugar, eggs, sour cream and oil. Beat on low for 1 minute; beat on medium for 2 minutes. Pour half of the batter into a large bowl. Stir in cocoa until blended. Fold chocolate chips into white cake batter.

2. Alternately spoon batters into a greased and floured 10-in. fluted tube pan.

3. Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.

4. In a small bowl, combine the frosting and milk. Spoon over top of cooled cake.
