SWEET & SALTY CRANBERRY BARS

The sweet and salty flavors of chocolate and nuts combined with tangy dried cranberries are addictive! They’re super sweet, so you may wish to cut them into small squares.

PREP: 15 MIN. • BAKE: 30 MIN. + COOLING • MAKES: 2 DOZEN


    1package yellow cake mix (regular size)

    1egg

1/2cup butter, melted

    1cup dried cranberries

    1cup coarsely chopped cashews

    1cup butterscotch chips

    1cup semisweet chocolate chips

    1can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk

1. In a large bowl, beat cake mix, egg and butter until combined. Press into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes.

2. Sprinkle the cranberries, cashews and chips over warm crust. Drizzle with milk. Bake 18-20 minutes longer or until golden brown. Cool completely on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
