1package chocolate cake mix (regular size)
1can (16 ounces) chocolate frosting
3 3/4 cups dry roasted peanuts, divided
1 1/2 cups miniature milk chocolate kisses
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows, divided
1. Prepare and bake the cake according to package directions, using two greased 9-in. round baking pans. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely.
2. Spread frosting between layers and over top and sides of cake. In a large bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups peanuts, the chocolate kisses and 1 cup marshmallows; set aside.
3. Arrange the remaining marshmallows to form the border of a road across the top of cake. Coarsely chop remaining peanuts and sprinkle inside marshmallow border. Lightly press remaining chocolate mixture over sides and top of cake.
