I decorated a special cake for my son’s high school graduation. Each of the frosted figures had hair color and details to resemble his friends.

1package yellow cake mix (regular size)
4cups vanilla frosting
Paste food coloring in colors of your choice
1. Prepare and bake the cake according to the package directions, using a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
2. Level top of cake; place on a serving platter. Tint frosting desired colors; spread over top and sides of cake. Pipe a shell border, caps, gowns and desired message.
