Every Dummies book includes a Part of Tens section. This is a group of chapters that include top-ten lists of interesting, thought-provoking, even controversial information. What makes each of the lists so fun is that they are both arbitrary and subjective. Some might agree with what they read. Others might disagree to the point of fisticuffs. Like military history itself, the questions will never be completely be settled, but the debates sure are fun. In this part, I’ve prepared top-ten lists of the greatest and worst generals in U.S. military history, along with a special list of the top ten films on the subject. So take a few moments to check out these lists and get ready to experience U.S. military history from some new points of view.
