Sometimes stories come fully formed and are easy to write. This was not one of them. This story came in spurts and spits, taking me in directions I hadn’t anticipated. The most of which was the villain. Researching serial killers was the stuff of nightmares, which I had plenty of while writing this book. For that reason I knew I needed two very strong characters who would rise to the challenge. And what a challenge it was for Sami and Drew.
They were led on a twisting and turning chase through two countries, facing numerous obstacles blocking the way. They survived explosions, gunshot wounds and times of deep darkness, but eventually their tenacity and perseverance and faith won the day and they emerged victoriously into the light.
I pray that whatever darkness you face, whatever obstacles you encounter, you will find the light in God’s love to lead you into victory.
Look for my next Northern Border Patrol book sometime around the holidays in 2015.
Until we meet again, may God bless you abundantly,
