Andy started his career as a stand-up comedian before going on to write, act and direct for the stage and screen. He was a writer and performer for the BBC’s BAFTA award-winning Short Change, and has won a Fringe First and numerous other awards for his productions at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
He has worked at several drama and dance schools as a director and teacher. Distilled from years of experience as a coach and mentor, his system of preparing for auditions has helped over three hundred young actors to win places at the UK’s top drama schools. Recently 21 of 22 students were offered places on acting courses, most of which were at RADA, LAMDA, Bristol Old Vic, Guildhall, Mountview and Drama Centre.
