You can’t just leave them there. You hop out of the ship in your space suit. You decide to give the telepathic communication a try. “How can I help?” you think as hard as you can. To your surprise, they actually respond.
They tell you that if you tug just one of them out, it will be enough to break the gravity and release all of them. You pull one bug, and the cloud breaks apart. You are blinded by the bright lights of the bugs as they surround you. Blinking, you see that as a group they have transformed into a shimmering fairy.
“Since you helped us, we’ll help you,” the fairy says. She waves a wand and your Jacko changes to a Carriage5000, the fastest and sleekest ship ever invented! She hands you a sparkling glass key.
“Don’t lose this spare key,” she says. “And beware, the spell breaks at midnight.”
You thank her and fly away, excited to actually be flying a Carriage5000! You’re so amazed by the beautiful ship that you almost forget about the competition. And then you realize you might be lost. Up ahead, you see a fancy spaceship. You send a radio signal asking for directions.
“I can plug the route into your system,” the pilot answers in a muffled voice. “But first I need to board your ship.”
