The digital mapping has been conducted to a map base comprising raster copies of the out-of-copyright 1st edition Ordnance Survey 1:10,560 maps. Where modern Ordnance Survey has been used in illustrations within the report then appropriate copyright statements have been made on the specific map captions.

All finds from the Bosworth survey are identified by unique numbers prefixed by the site code BOS. These numbers relate to the catalogue of round shot in Appendix 1, of other medieval finds in Appendix 2, and to the digital finds data set in GIS which is available online from the Archaeology Data Service.
