And just like that, 2020 is over, and what a year it has been.
There was still lots of fireworks last night (New Year's Eve), and the sound of it made me absolutely happy. It makes me think that people refuse to lose hope and believe with all their hearts that 2021 will be the year we'll all rebound and bounce back.
When you think about it...it's not like the virus cares what date it is on the calendar. COVID-19 wouldn't know or care what the difference is between 2020 and 2021, and while I do know this...I still can't help thinking and believing that things will be better this year. That the pandemic is a 2020 thing, and 2021 is when humanity proves that we can all join hands in making life better for all of us again.
I truly believe that, and with God's grace, I know things will start looking up again.
