How to Cut Brownies
Give this trick a try when you want perfectly cut treats to take to the bake sale, potluck or party.
- Before pouring the batter, line the pan with parchment, letting a couple of inches extend over each side. Bake as directed. When brownies are cool, grab the paper handles and tug. The entire batch of brownies should come right out of the pan.
- A bench scraper (find one in the kitchenware aisle) is a handy tool for making clean cuts and/or working with dough. Get clean slices by firmly pressing the scraper into the brownies and lifting up rather than dragging it through the dessert.
