The Chinatown rainy-day gear of choice seemed to be ponchos. Lin Xiang Yee, the woman in the blue poncho, bought hers from a ninety-nine cent store, and smartly pinned the hood to her baseball cap to secure it.
“I’m going to dim sum,” she said. “I’m going to get duck noodles.”
