Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. ~Proverbs 4:25
Do you have goals that you’re trying to reach? Are you pursuing your purpose in life? Are you chasing your dreams? These are all important questions we must ask ourselves. Here is a better question: did you know that God puts dreams in our hearts and writes a purpose over our lives?
Dreams are not simply the thoughts you experience when you are asleep. They are the joyful ideas, images, and goals that burn in your heart, flood your mind, and saturate your soul. Dreams are what you want to do, how you want to do it, and what type of individual you want to become in the process. They are the revelations you want to experience on your journey to fulfillment.
One of the most important lessons I learned was that to achieve your greatest dreams, you have to embrace the loss of social approval from ignorant people. It was in that revelation I noticed that people deal with their dreams in one of three ways:
In other words, do not accept whatever comes your way in life; block all of the outside noise and concentrate on your dream. Put your energy into building your dreams instead of convincing other people.
From this day forward, I want you to make the choice to do something about the dreams God has given you. Your greatness is never by chance, it is the result of God’s love, great intention, genuine determination, and smart execution. I would like you to remember this:
Dreams becoming reality is not a matter of chance, but rather a matter of choice.
God gave you a choice to be the best version of yourself. He gave you a choice to be great, and becoming great is achieved by making God number one in your life. Make the choice to have confidence in Jesus and keep His words near your heart. When your dreams are greater than those little excuses, your dreams will become real and success will follow.
Always remember, living forward is having a dream to build something great for God. And if that is your desire, you will find yourself on an amazing journey toward the fulfillment of your dreams. Envision what will be and move forward to a happily ever after story. God is writing your story of victory, today!
