What is Faith?
Fundamentally, “faith” is having the confidence, trust, and assurance that things hoped for will occur according to the will of God. Faith is the foundation, the infrastructure of all that the Christian life means and all that a follower of Jesus hopes for. Faith is peace during times of uncertainty.
Faith is having an encouraging outlook about what you can do and not being concerned about what you cannot do.
Our faith is what pleases God. It is only when we live by faith that we begin to do the extraordinary for ourselves and our family. As a matter of fact, faith is the necessary element for the success of a family. Whether you are a mother, father, brother or sister, your faith can move mountains on behalf of your family.
We often look at our circumstances, our finances, our education, our gifts, or our network to provide security for our family. However, the best way to shelter and safeguard our family is by our faith. In other words, if our families are the treasure, our faith is the treasure chest.
God has selected you to train your family through faith, to observe His way of life, so that He can bless you with the promises He made to you and the generations after you. So, bring the good news of faith to your family.
Your faith can bind up the brokenhearted and declare liberty to those family members feeling captive. Your faith will proclaim the favor of the Lord and will bring comfort to all who mourn. It will be because of your faith that your family will be called righteous and Jesus will be glorified.
As you remain faithful to follow and obey God, He will bring you and your family into a place of pleasure and fulfillment. God is not asking you to walk by sight, He is asking you to walk by faith. Trust Him because His plans are always for your good. Always remember, a praying person can never be defeated! You have power and authority to speak over yourself, your family, your finances and your dreams! Your greatness is coming by faith!
