Serves 6
Use cantaloupe or any other favorite melon for this recipe, which is a fast and elegant dessert.
1 large cantaloupe
1 scant tablespoon powdered sugar
½ teaspoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon candied ginger (optional)
Cut the melon in half and seed. Then cut each half into chunks. Stir together the sugar and ground ginger. Add candied ginger if you like. Sprinkle over melon chunks and chill.
