ABOUT THE AUTHOR

BETH GREENFIELD was born and raised in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Since receiving her master’s in journalism from NYU she has written about travel, entertainment, gay culture, and parenting for publications including the New York Times, Lonely Planet guidebooks, Out, Time Out New York Kids, and Time Out New York, where she is currently a staff editor. Over the years, Beth has been honored with a Front Page Award from the Newswomen’s Club of New York, a nomination for a 2006 GLAAD Media Award, and a 2009 Folio Eddie for feature writing. She lives in New York City and Provincetown.
