Now that we have our archive, all we have to do is send it up to Splunkbase. In version 7.0, submitting apps is done by pointing your browser to https://splunkbase.splunk.com/new/ and following the directions there:
If your app meets the rigid criteria, and once the Splunk personnel approve your app, it will appear in Splunkbase, ready for others to download.
To help get your app approved, you might want to consider AppInspect, which appraises your Splunk app against a set of Splunk-defined criteria so that you can be assured of its quality and robustness.
