My family has been making this recipe for generations. Whenever
we get together, someone offers to bring the crunchy bars.

Prep: 10 min. • Bake: 20 min. + cooling • Makes: 2 dozen
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
2 cups lightly salted dry roasted peanuts
1 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup light corn syrup

2. In a small saucepan, melt the butterscotch chips, corn syrup and butter over medium heat; stir until smooth. Drizzle over the peanuts. Bake 6-8 minutes longer or until bubbly. Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Lifting with foil, remove from pan. Cut into bars.
WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT…
“These bars were easy enough that the kids could help! We used honey-roasted peanuts because that’s what I had on hand. I also added about 1/2 cup of semisweet chocolate chips because, well, chocolate.”
