1. Punch a 1" (2.5 cm) copper disc and a 1⁄4" (6 mm) copper disc from the sheet metal (or use precut discs).
2. Clean both pieces with Bar Keepers Friend, water, and a green scrub pad, working in a circular motion. Rinse and dry. Oxidize both pieces with liver of sulfur until black. Rinse and dry.
3. Using the hole-punch pliers, make a hole in the center of the small disc. Line up the top of the small disc with the top of the large disc and mark through the hole with a Sharpie. Punch a hole at the mark.
4. Use the salon board to remove the rough edges on the back of the discs where the hole was punched. Rinse and dry both pieces.
5. Place the discs, front side up, on a piece of paper. Paint half of the large disc and the entire small disc with the nail polish; let dry. Repeat for a second coat.
6. When the nail polish is completely dry, use a center punch and ball-peen hammer to hammer small dots in the polish on the large disc, revealing the black underneath.
7. Use a jump ring to attach the small disc to the front of the large disc. Attach a chain and the lobster clasp with the remaining jump rings.
