I was fifteen when my father sat down with me and told me the full story of his journey. I remember it as if it was yesterday, because it made such an impression on me. Many have asked me what have been the greatest influences on my ideas around government, nation building and the future, and I can truly, without doubt, say it was my father´s journey. His courage and determination, along with his unrelenting and unwavering sense of right and wrong are ideals we should all aspire to, no matter the circumstances.
