Glossary - PLACES
Eureka Springs: Tom McKinley’s home when he’s not running back to the big city. Lilly and Jimmy’s home.
White Chair: Small village in the realm of White Oak. Hometown to Joran, Laine, JeAnna, Nichols, Bert, Delve, and Commander Sikes.
Bergsteiger Village: This village is located south of White Oak, across the Golden Plains, and through some very dense woods. The Bergsteiger are master woodsmen who carve their homes into dashu trees. The village is also home to Andacht and his brother Andachtig.
The Dragon Vale: Also known as Dragon Ship Vale due to a ship the villagers use to protect themselves. We don’t visit the Vale in White Oak, but it does play a prominent role in White Oak’s prequel, the Black Oak. There’s also a possible sequel to White Oak or a spin-off (TBD), primarily dealing with the Vale.
The Koopakarud (Crafters) live in caves located in the eastern valley walls which surround the Vale.
Sosie, a character who plays a major role in all three Novels is from the most Southern part of the Vale.
Lieutenant Laine was stationed in the Vale with Commander Sikes.
White Oak: The heart of the realm. White Oak is currently the home of the King, Commander Joran, JeAnna, Bert, Delve, Lieutenant Nichols, Lieutenant Laine, the Swiftfoot, the Koopakarud (Crafters), and presently Tom McKinley.
